A pin factory cleared and loaded for three countries
We cleared a pin factory in Bradford for a firm in the automotive industry, moving every machine out and loading it onto transport for relocation to Mexico, Italy and the USA. The machines included presses up to 40te, grind lines with around ten 12te grinders, CNC machines, and grinding and finishing machines.
We planned and carried out all the heavy lifting and shifting to get the machines out of the building and onto transport, and worked to the client’s programme so the site was cleared in order. The heaviest machine, a 40te horizontal press, went last.
The machines were moved and loaded safely and on time, to the client’s programme. We relocate factories within the UK and from one country to another, across industries from automotive to food and beverages.

Plant, tackle and team
Machines
CNC machines from makers including Takisawa and Sinico, grinding and finishing machines from makers including Loeser and Supfina, and presses including a 40te horizontal press.
Cranes and Plant
Electric pick and carry cranes up to 12te, forklifts, 40te cranes (Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1) and a 200te crane (Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1).
Tackle
64te skates, toe jacks, pad jacks, slings, chains and shackles.
Team
Appointed Persons to plan the lifts, site supervisors to control the work, and operators and riggers to carry it out.
The Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1 is a 40 tonne, two axle all-terrain crane with a 35m main boom, supplied with an operator for crane hire or as part of a contract lift.
The Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 is a 200 tonne, five axle all-terrain crane with a 72m main boom, supplied with an operator for crane hire or as part of a contract lift.
