From air handling units to heavy machinery, generators, transformers, autoclaves, boilers, presses and much more, Synergy Lifting carry out lift and shift operations every day.
Our tackle store holds a wide range of lifting equipment, so we can take on even the most challenging jobs. Our operatives arrive fully prepared to complete a safe and efficient lift and shift.
What items do we lift and shift?
HVAC kit into and out of plant rooms and switchrooms, heavy machinery in factories, delicate display cabinets, and heavy items such as 40te presses and 60te autoclaves.
What area do we cover?
We are spread out across the UK and that gives us nationwide coverage. This means we are able to carry out surveys and take on work wherever you need us.

We can do a desktop survey to assess what is needed and give you a quote, usually on the same day you get in touch.
Something awkward to move?
Not every job is straightforward. If you have something difficult or awkward to overcome, we will devise a method.

Pick what you need from us. We can do just one of these things or all of them together.

Offloading and loading
Cranes, forklifts, telehandlers and other plant to load and offload your equipment, whether onto flatbeds, curtainsiders, vessels or into containers.

Packaging and transport
The whole move from A to B. If your equipment is fragile or being exported, we can make bespoke packaging such as crates and cradles.

Lifting and moving
Heavy or awkward items moved on site or to another address, with our own operatives, equipment and transport.

Interim storage
Short or long term storage in secure facilities with cameras and fencing, from entire production lines to smaller items like AHUs and lathes.

Removal and disposal
Redundant equipment or machinery removed and disposed of. We are a registered upper tier waste carrier, broker and dealer.

Positioning and installation
Machines and equipment shifted into their final position and levelled, from an AHU onto a plinth to a machine into a production line.

Each project is unique and can take anything from a single day to several months. This is a typical lift and shift project from start to finish.

Site visit
Our lift and shift team audit your site. If you just want a quote, we can often do a desktop survey instead.

After the site visit, we send you a detailed quotation setting out our scope of works and timescales.

Site assessment
A full site assessment to establish the HSE requirements and finalise our method for the lifting operations.

Risk assessment
Safety comes first on every job, so we write a site-specific risk assessment to go alongside our method statement.

Method statement
A site-specific method statement setting out our safe working procedures.

Highways and councils
Where needed, we work with local councils to arrange permits or road closures for heavy or wide loads leaving site.

Insurance
Our full insurance cover is sent to you to review before work starts on site.

Project management
The work is carried out by our qualified team, using our own specialist plant and equipment.

Handover
We hand the project over when it is complete, or in set phases on larger projects.
