On this project our scope of works involved coordinating and executing various services. These included contract lifts with small and heavy cranes, dismantling glulam trusses, erecting new steelwork, and temporary propping. To do this, our team planned and prepared all method statements and risk assessments prior to commencement of works on site. The project took place over 6 weeks and involved working in close proximity to a listed building. With the crane jib needing to come within metres of vulnerable structures it was important that our lifts were planned with precision.

On this project, we had to supply various plant. In terms of cranes, we supplied a 50t crane (the Demag AC 50-1), a 90t crane (the Tadano ATF 90G-4), and a 250t crane (the Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1). We also supplied a telehandler for general lifting and shifting activities on site. In addition to plant, our team required there usual tools and equipment for dismantling activities – including a chainsaw, nut guns, drills etc.

Due to the various activities we undertook on this project, we supplied a range of personnel suited to different tasks. These included steel erectors, a telehandler operator, crane operators, slinger banksman, lift supervisors, a chainsaw operator, riggers, and more.
