Common questions

The street is steep and narrow. Can you still lift?

Usually, but it decides the machine. Gradient affects levelling, outrigger loads and safe capacity at radius, so send us photos of the street and the building and we’ll confirm what will fit before dates are fixed.

Can you get machinery out of a mill building?

Often, yes. Low headroom, narrow openings and an old floor usually mean skates or jacking inside the building with the crane working from the yard. Floor loading and the route out get checked first.

Can you lift near the railway?

Yes. Lifts near running lines need clearances and sometimes a possession, agreed with the rail operator before the date is fixed. Tell us how close the lift is to the line and we’ll set out what is needed.
