A batching plant taken down and the site left clear
We dismantled a redundant concrete batching plant and its associated structures at the Port of Tyne, and removed everything from site, leaving it clear.
We were principal contractor for the job. The plant was cut into transportable sections, some around 7.5m long, and lifted down with a 50te mobile crane. As an upper-tier waste carrier, we loaded and removed all the scrap ourselves, and its value was retained against our price.

MEWPs for work at height, and burning and cutting gear to cut the structure into transportable sections.
Scrap and Waste
We loaded and removed all the scrap as an upper-tier waste carrier, with its value retained against our price.

Our Appointed Person planned the lifts and prepared the method statement, risk assessment and lift plan.
