      Your heavy crane hire experts

Synergy Lifting provide a leading heavy crane hire and contract lifting service on sites across the UK. Our reputation in the heavy crane hire industry is built on our ability to carry out heavy lifting activities safely and efficiently whilst remaining cost conscious. Our experienced heavy crane hire management team do this by employing competent personnel, utilising the most suitable plant and equipment, and careful and planning and executing every single lift we undertake.

      Heavy Crane Hire Safety

Although cost is a very important factor in heavy crane hire operations, safety is always first – one of our key advantages is that we are able to offer a heavy crane hire service with emphasis on safety whilst remaining cost-conscious for our customers. Our heavy crane hire lifting operations are ingrained with safety at every point in the project. Initially, Synergy Lifting’s appointed person carries out a site visit to help determine the best safe working method and then uses this information to formulate a thorough set of heavy crane hire RAMS (risk assessments and method statements) and a detailed heavy crane hire lift plan illustrating the crane position. When on site, our lift supervisors work alongside all other contractors to ensure everyone on site is aware of the risks involved in the lifting operations from mobilisation through to demobilisation and leaving site.

      Heavy Crane Hire Cost

Our heavy crane hire management team take pride in remaining cost-conscious when our customers approach us with a heavy crane hire request. We have helped to save some of our customers thousands of pounds on single day projects when they have approached us after being quoted extremely high costs by other heavy crane hire firms. By choosing Synergy Lifting, you can be rest-assured that our experienced management team consisting of appointed persons and CAD technicians are going to assess a range of potential lifting scenarios to help you arrive at a cost-effective heavy crane hire solution. For example, we will assess tandem lift operations, different crane configurations based on ballast and fly jib set ups, crane positioning and load dismantling to make sure we can provide you with a cost-effective heavy crane hire solution on a fully insured contract lift basis.

      Heavy Crane Hire Projects

Unlike other crane hire firms, we are able to offer a much broader range of services alongside our heavy crane hire service. For example, if removing redundant plant or equipment from site, we are able to transport and dispose of this waste in a safe and environmentally friendly manner. In addition to heavy crane hire, our services include dismantling, steel erection, machine movement, factory relocation, plant strip outs, temporary propping, and labour provision. We often provide a full package service to our clients, creating cost efficiencies and taking control of the coordination of more activities on site. It is also worth noting that for projects involving dismantling and disposing of plants or removing redundant assets, we are able to offer a competitive price by offsetting the scrap or resale value against the cost of our works.

      Managerial Experience

Our heavy crane hire and contract lifting management team have decades of experience working on sites across the UK and we understand the different restraints that can be imposed under different circumstances. We overcome these restraints by focusing on each lift with the aim to devise a plan that can be executed safely, efficiently, and cost effectively. We have experience lifting machines through roof openings, offloading equipment from vessels, dismantling petrochemical plants, and the list goes on...

      Competent Personnel

Every service Synergy Lifting provide, whether it is heavy crane hire or simple lifting and shifting, is executed by our core of competent personnel who work on sites across the UK in a range of sectors. Our heavy crane hire teams are made up of competent appointed persons, operators, lift supervisors, slinger banksmen, and riggers. We also have a core of competent personnel with other qualifications - including steel erectors, plant operators, cladders etc. We often combine our services to provide our clients with a full package solution.

      Plant and Equipment

Synergy Lifting have access to heavy cranes with lifting capacities up to 1,200te. We have resources across the UK that we can utilise in the most economical way in order to price projects competitively. We also have our own stores with a range of specialist equipment and, if required, we can also fabricate and test our own lifting equipment to carry out bespoke lifting operations. Our heavy crane hire team carefully plan each stage in the lifting operation and ensure that the correct plant and equipment is selected and used every time.

      Planning and Execution

Having the resources (personnel, plant, and equipment) to carry out heavy crane hire and contract lifting are the building blocks of our lifting operations, but it is due to our careful planning and execution that we are able to actually deliver projects on time and safely. A large part of our planning stage involves thorough RAMS (risk assessments and method statements) and detailed CAD lift plans that are formulated following a site visit and presented to you prior to commencement of the heavy crane hire and contract lifting project.
