01. Intro
What we did
On a recent site at Union Street in Newcastle, Synergy Lifting worked alongside steel fabricators to coordinate delivery schedules with our work. We supplied our 50t crane on the site and a range of other plant and equipment which was utilised when erecting the steel structure. Our qualified and experienced steel erectors worked on this site and we have a labour force who are ready to work on sites throughout the UK.

How we did it
Service
Our scope of works involved supplying our own 50te crane on an insured contract lift basis, MEWPs, labour, and tackle. Prior to the works commencing we prepared a thorough set of steel erecting RAMS and also a lift plan illustrating the various crane positions. We then mobilised on site and coordinated all of our own steel erecting activities with the main contractors and the steel fabricator. We erected all of the steelwork before demobilising and leaving site after it had been checked over and signed off as complete.
Plant and Equipment
On this steel erection project in Newcastle, we utilised our own 50te crane – the Demag AC 50-1. We also supplied MEWPs and kitted our erectors out with all the tools and equipment needed to carry out the steel erection work efficiently and safely.
Labour
Prior to works commencing, our senior appointed person carried out site visits to then prepare a thorough set of steel erecting RAMS. During the steel erection project, we supplied a lift supervisor and slinger banksman to supervise and bank the crane on an insured contract lift basis. We also provided a gang of steel erectors with CSCS gold cards and IPAF cards.

We provide steel erection packages to our clients or we can provide other services to steel erecting firms such as mobile cranes and personnel on a daywork basis. In addition to steel erection packages, we can also carry out cladding and roofing packages too which helps to ensure your project is well coordinated.
