Common questions

Can you fit a generator swap into one weekend shutdown?

Yes, once the route and floors are checked in advance. After your electrician disconnects the old set, we skate it out and bring the new one in the same way, levelled on its mounts before power returns.

Can you replace a boiler in a Luton school during the summer holiday?

Yes. We book the dates early, check the way into the plant room, and have the new boiler on its base before term starts.

How much headroom do you need?

Less than most people expect, but it decides the method. What counts is the gap between the top of the item and the lowest obstruction on the route once the item is on the equipment. Where it is tight we use a low-headroom gantry or jacks and lift in smaller steps.

Will you damage our floor?
