Common questions

Can you get a crane into a lane in the city centre?

Often, yes, but it depends on the approach and whether there is anywhere to stand. Send us the address and photos of the lane and the building, and we’ll tell you what is workable before you commit to a date.

Do you cover Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft?

Yes, including the harbour and energy work there. Quayside lifts get planned around vessel movements, tide and wind, which on that coast is usually the deciding factor.

Can you work on soft or peaty ground?

Yes, with the ground checked first. Low-lying and peaty ground carries far less than it appears to, so we look at ground bearing, plan the outrigger positions and bring crane mats where the bearing is marginal.
