Access and planning for lifts in Doncaster
Every site is different, but a few things come up again and again on Doncaster jobs:

Common questions
Can you work inside a distribution centre while it is running?
Yes, and most of our logistics park work is done that way. We agree the route in, the standing position, the exclusion zone and the working window with the site team so the crane fits around the operation rather than stopping it.
Can you lift next to a railway?
Yes. Lifts near running lines need clearances and usually a possession, agreed with the rail operator before the date is fixed. Tell us how close the lift is to the line and we’ll set out what is needed.
Do you handle the machine move as well as the lift?
We can. Getting a machine out of a building often needs skates, rollers or hydraulic jacking inside and a crane outside, and having one contractor for both removes the handover between them. See our machine movement page.
