MANAGEMENT OF HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE POLICY

Policy Statement

It is the declared policy of Synergy Lifting to take all reasonable and practicable steps to ensure the health, safety & welfare of our employees and any other persons, who may be affected by our work activities.

The Board of Directors and Management of Synergy Lifting recognize that Occupational Health and Safety is an integral part of business performance and shall receive foremost priority over all other aspects of business. Synergy Lifting Management is committed to achieving a high level of Health and Safety Performance by means of compliance with legal requirements as the minimum level to be achieved and of continual cost-effective improvement, in the control of risk from our undertakings and of the importation of risk from others.

Implementation of this policy will be through consultation, instruction, training and supervision of employees. Line management in turn have a duty to consult and encourage the active participation of every employee in the promotion, achievement and maintenance of Synergy Lifting's standards. Synergy Lifting will arrange for sufficient resources to be made available to meet all reasonably practicable costs in respect of Management, Supervision and Employee Health and Safety requirements.

Synergy Lifting will review, from time to time, all policies, practices and procedures, which could affect employees’ health, safety and welfare and will ensure that all reasonably practicable improvements are implemented. The effectiveness of the organization in managing Health and Safety shall be monitored through regular inspection and audit to ensure compliance with the policy.

The policy will be kept up-to-date, reflecting any changes in the nature, shape and size of the business and will reflect any changes in legislation with revisions made as necessary. The policy statement and any revision of it shall be brought to the notice of all employees and all temporary staff and contractors working for Synergy Lifting.

The general and specific arrangements for Health, Safety and Welfare are set out elsewhere and form the basis for implementing the above policy.
